- Crunchies – An oat and coconut bar served during tea time. 3 count.
- Choc-Kits – A buttery oat cookie sandwich filled with milk chocolate. 6 count.
- Dried Fruit & Buttermilk Rusks – Rusks are the South African version of biscotti. Perfect to dip in a cup of milky rooibos tea. 4 count.
- Peppermint Crisp Fudge – Rich chocolate fudge topped with caramel, crushed Tennis biscuits, and chunks of Peppermint Crisp candy bar. 4 count.
- Loose Leaf Rooibos Tea – Rooibos, meaning ‘Red Bush’ in Afrikaans, is a plant that grows native in the Cederburg Mountains of South Africa. The leaves are steeped to make a slightly sweet and floral herbal tea. Organic, fair trade and caffeine free. 4 oz jar
- Cape Malay Curry Powder – Influenced by Malay cuisine, Cape Malay curry powder is a mix spices that include cloves, cardamon, fennel, mustard, coriander, turmeric, fenugreek, a little chilli and black pepper. Mild heat with a touch of sweetness. This curry spice mix is wonderful in all types of curries, but especially Cape Malay style cuisine. 4 oz jar.
- Dried Protea Flower – Each box is adorned with a dried and preserved protea flower, which is the national flower of South Africa and indigenous to the Cape Floral region.
- Hand Beaded Star Ornament – A hand beaded star ornament created by local artisan, Simba, in Cape Town, South Africa. Ethically sourced from iThemba.
- Poem – An original poem written by my partner and South African, Warren Leichtle-Chalklen, sharing the significance of the items in this box and what home means to him. He has pledged to write a new poem for the box every year 😉
